Versatile Fire Fighting Tanks

Request a quote

Don’t get caught out in the bush fire season! Our water tanks can be fitting with the required couplings to give you  protection against property loss. By placing the outlet lower than a normal outlet. You can use the tank as drinking water with a reserve for fires.

By adding a water level gauge, you will easily be able to see how much water is in reserve.

With three different capacities and the ability to join them together for larger capacities, we can almost suit any requirement.

22,500L is the largest in the range with a size of 2.4 x 4.4 x 2.5m high

11,700L is our mid-sized tank with that is 2.4 x 2.4 x 2.34m high

 6,700L is our small tank that is 1.8 x 2.0 x 2.08m high

All of our tanks can have a reduced height to fit the needs of the project.

How it Works

Once you’ve selected what combination of tanks are required. Place an order with us. We will then send you a diagram for you to mark out any penetrations including a hole in the lid. Once that’s done, we will produce the tank to your specifications and deliver it to site. We will communicate with the crane company of your choosing to ensure that the crane isn’t waiting around.

FAQ

What is the tank constructed of?

We use a special 50 MPa concrete that allows the tank to be poured in a single go. This means the walls and the base don’t allow any sepage and makes the tanks stronger.

How much do they weigh

The base tank weights are as follows. The total weight will depend on the lid thickness.

Size Maximum Weight
22,500L 12.2t
11,700L 7.1t
6,700L 4t
Where can we install the tanks?

Beneath lawns, gardens, driveways, garages, sheds, above ground and pretty much anywhere else. They can be partially or fully buried.

What can we use the water for?

Putting out fires, drinking, flushing toilets, washing clothes, washing your car, irrigation, filling up pools and pretty much anything else you use water for. We use food grade products to produce the tanks.

Do I need water filters?

It’s recommended. They are useful in removing small particles and prevent discolouration from the rainwater.

Do we need to clean the tanks?

They may need to be periodically cleaned. This will depend on many local factors, but speak to a professional local tank cleaner if your tank requires cleaning.
